There are many reasons homes become cluttered. Consumerism, life events, competing demands on our time, and mental health issues are the greatest contributors to why we collect clutter.
With so many contributing factors, it is easy to see how clutter sneaks into our lives, gradually invading our space and causing stress and chaos.
But what exactly is clutter, and how can we recognise when we have too much stuff?

What Is Clutter?
Clutter is more than just having an untidy space; it goes far beyond having a few things lying around your home that haven’t been put away.
Essentially, clutter refers to items that are disorganised, unnecessary, or no longer serve a purpose in our lives.
This can range from old magazines and clothes we never wear to electronics and gadgets gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere.

What Are The Signs Of Clutter?
How do we know when we have too much stuff? Here are some tell-tale signs:
